This is a hypertext prototype of the System Reference Document 5.1 (the 2014 fifth-edition rules), built in the spirit of Old Gus' Daggerheart SRD: one static site, no accounts, no ads, works offline.
Pick a category on the left, search, and click an entry. Monsters can be sent straight into the Encounter calculator; conditions are cross-linked from monster stat blocks.
Character Calculator
Everything is derived live from the six ability scores. Your character is saved in this browser only (localStorage) and can be exported as JSON.
Build mode
Sly Flourish's fast build, adapted to the 2014 rules: pick a class, deal out an all-in standard array (it already includes species & background bonuses — don't add them again), take two extra skill proficiencies of your choice instead of background skills, optionally one tool proficiency, the Tough feat by default, and one potion of healing instead of background equipment. Species and background are flavor and story only. Sources: Alternative Standard Arrays · Build Characters Quickly

Encounter Calculator
Built around the Lazy Encounter Benchmark (Sly Flourish): an encounter may be deadly if the monsters' total CR exceeds a fraction of the party's total levels, and the fraction grows with the party's average level — ¼ at average levels 1–4, ½ at 5–10, ¾ at 11–15, and the full total at 16+. The 2014 XP-budget method is still available, collapsed under the result. Add monsters from the Compendium, or enter CRs by hand.

About this prototype
A vertical slice toward “Old Gus' Daggerheart SRD, but for 5e”: compendium + character calculator + encounter calculator, as a fully static site. Put the folder on any static host (or open it locally) and it works offline — a service worker caches the app shell and data after the first visit over http(s).
What's in / what's next
In: all SRD 5.1 spells (319), monsters (334), classes (12, with level tables and full feature text), species (9, full trait text), conditions (15), equipment (237) and magic items (362); condition-name tooltips throughout the text; full-text search & filters; character calculator with a Lazy DM quick-build mode (Sly Flourish's all-in standard arrays, narrative-only background) plus the standard point-buy mode, local save & JSON export; XP + Lazy-benchmark encounter calculator; collapsible navigation on mobile.
Next candidates: backgrounds & feats as reference entries, printable character summary, Japanese UI, SRD 5.2.1 switch.
